1972 06 11 AGBU Yervant Demirdjian “Dibar” Kindergaten Graduation The end-of-year graduation for the AGBU Yervant Demirdjian “Dibar” Sponsoured by New York Ladies Auxiliary Kindergarten took place on June 11, 1972, in the G. Gulbenkian Auditorium. In his opening remarks, the school principal, Mr. Yervant Agishian, emphasized the undeniable role of kindergarten teachers in the holistic development of children. ---------Following his speech, the artistic program was performed, distinguished this year by its originality. Fifty-five children received their certificates, presented by Mrs. Hermine Varjapedyan, Mr. Hagop. Altounyan, and Prof. Y. Vorperian.--------------- In his closing remarks, Mr. Principal expressed special thanks to the national benefactor Mr. Yervant Demirjian and his committee members. Gratitude was also extended to the Armenian Dramatic Society, the Detroit and New York AGBU Ladies’ Committees, and the Educational Committee.
