Who we are
AGBU Lebanon is part of the Armenian General Benevolent Union, the largest non-profit Armenian organization in the world. Locally, we serve Armenian-Lebanese families through programs spanning culture, education, youth, sports, and humanitarian support.
Our mission
To preserve and promote the Armenian heritage and identity in Lebanon, while supporting the educational, cultural, social, and humanitarian needs of our community.
Community role
We act as a bridge between generations, between Lebanon and the diaspora, and between tradition and modern community life — through inclusive programs for every age group.
Cultural heritage
Concerts, exhibitions, conferences, and commemorative events keep our cultural heritage alive and connect the community to its history, language, and traditions.
Education
AGBU schools and educational programs have shaped generations of Armenian-Lebanese students, combining academic excellence with cultural and civic education.
Humanitarian & medical support
Our dispensaries and humanitarian programs provide essential medical and social support, especially during challenging times for the community.
Youth & sports
From AYA youth programs to gym and sports activities, we invest in the development, well-being, and engagement of younger generations.
Governance & membership
Our governance is rooted in member participation, transparency, and service to the community.
