1967 Dec 24 AGBU-AYA ASBED’s 10th Anniversary Dinner Ball in Bristol Hotel “The Knights of the Armenian Youth Association (AYF) celebrated their 10th anniversary with a grand banquet and ball on the night of December 24, 1967, held in the luxurious halls of the Bristol Hotel. This annual event is organized every December 24, but the 10th anniversary celebration marked a special success. The hall was packed with more than 400 distinguished guests, including many prominent families of the city. After a welcoming speech by the popular chairman, Mr. Noubar Nazarian, he highlighted the significance of the AYA's building project, which was set to begin in 1968. Following this, Dr. George Keshishian, Mrs. Rita Balian, and Mr. Yenovk Balikian surprised attendees with a 12-page satirical paper called "Thorn Crown," edited by Messrs. Vardkes Balian, Yenovk Balikian, Dr. George Keshishian, Krigor Keoseyan, and Berge Fazlian. The evening included Armenian and Arabic dances, and over 150 items were offered in a raffle, conducted by board member Mr. Sarkis Demirjian. The event's revenue was significantly boosted by numerous donations, totaling around 500 Lebanese pounds prior to the event. At the event, driven by the infectious enthusiasm, Emir Abdullah Ibn Saud donated 2,000 Lebanese pounds to the AYA, while Mr. Yervand Demirjian, Dr. Yerevan Jidedjian, and Mr. Noubar Nazarian each contributed 500 Lebanese pounds.
«ՀԲԸՄ-ՀԵԸի ԱՍՊԵՏՆԵՐՈՒ ՓԱՌԱՇՈՒՔ ՁԵՌՆԱՐԿԸ» ՀԲԸՄի Հայ Երիտասարդաց Ընկերակցութեան Ասպետներու Համախմբումը իր հիմնադրութեան տասնամեակը տօնեց փառաշուք ճաշկերոյթ-պարահանդէսով մը, որ տեղի ունեցաւ 1967 Դեկտեմբեր 24ի գիշերը, Պրիսթոլ պանդոկի շքեղ սրահներուն մէջ: Ասպետները ամէն տարի Դեկտեմբեր 24ի գիշերը կը սարքեն նմանօրինակ յաջող ձեռնարկ մը, բայց տասնամեակի այս ձեռնարկը արձանագրեց բաձառիկ յաջողութիւն մը:------------Սրահը լեցուն էր աւելի քան 400 հոգինոց ընտրանի բազմութեամբ մը, ուր աչքի կը զարնէին քաաքիս ծանօթ ընտանիքներու մեծ մասը: Վարչութեան սիրուած ատենապետը, Պրն. Նուպար Նազարեան, բարեգալուստ մաղթելէ ետք կոչնակներուն, խօսեցաւ Ասպետներուն գործունէութեան մասին եւ շեշտեց ՀԵԸի սեփական շէնքի շրագրին կարւորութիւնը, որ 1968 տարուան ընթացքին պիտի սկսէր իրագործուիլ:------------ Ապա Տոքթ. Գէորգ Քեշիշեան, Տիկ. Ռիթա Պալեան եւ Ենովք Պալիկեան հրամցուցին հաճելի անակնկալ մը, «Փշապսակ» անունով 12 էջնոց յաջող երգիծաթերթ մը՝ Ասպետներու եւ անոնց ցանկութեանց ու բարեկամներուն մասին, խմբագրութեամբ Պարոնայք Վարդգէս Պալեանի, Ենովք Պալիկեանի, Տոքթ. Գէորգ Քեշիշեանի, Գրիգոր Քէօսէեանի եւ Պերճ Ֆազլեանի:--------------Եղան հայկական եւ արաբական պարեր: Աւելի քան 150 առարկաներ դրուած էին վիճակահանութեան, զոր վարեց վարչութեան անդամներէն Պրն. Սարգիս Տեմիրճեան:--------------Ձեռնարկին հասոյթը զգալապէս աւելցաւ շարք մը նուիրատութթիւններով: Զանազան հաստատութիւններ եւ անձեր արդէն նուիրած էին շուրջ 500 Լիբ. ոսկի: Տեղւոյն վրայ, վարակիչ խանդավառութենէն տարուած, Էմիր Ապտալլա Իպն Սէուտ ՀԵԸնկերակցութեան նուիրեց 2000 լիբ. ոսկի, իսկ Պրնք. Երուանդ Տեմիրճեան, Տոքթ. Երոանդ Ճիտեճեան եւ Նուպար Նազարեան նուիրեցին 500ական լիբ. ոսկի: (Hoosh 1968 Mar n6p12)
