AGBU Antelias Kindergarten and Elementary school Graduation

1970 06 21 1970 AGBU Antelias Kindergarten and Elementary school Graduation AGBU Antilias, Kindergarten and Elementary school joint end-year graduation event took place on June 21st, 1970, in the auditorium of Vahan Tekeian School, under the auspices of the AGBU Educational Committee. The event started with a pair of Lebanese and AGBU hymns. Then, the students presented a neat program. The school Principal, Mr. M. Ouzounian, read the annual report. Then, the certificates were distributed. Fourteen children from the Kindergarten and six students from the elementary section received their certificates. It was a very successful event, considering that this school has few students: a kindergarten teacher, Mrs. E. Saboundjian, and her assistant teacher, Miss. A. Seropyan. The event was closed with an Armenian dance performed by the kindergarten students, whom teacher Miss. A. Seropyan prepared. For several years, in our correspondence, we have constantly repeated that this school should be endowed with its building, and the newly formed “New School Building” Committee is working in this direction!------------------
