AYA Antranik and AYA-Sevan, the cyclist's teams, achieved a year of unprecedented success.
Cycling In the course of the year 1970, AYA Antranik and AYA-Sevan, the cyclist's teams, achieved a year of unprecedented success. Out of ten competitions in Lebanon, athletes from Antranik won nine, and one from Sevan. In those tournaments, Antranik participated with seven athletes, and Sevan with four athletes. The competitions, which took place every Sunday early morning, started on April 6 and lasted until June 21, consisted of the following events: - *a) Beirut championship. *b) Mount Lebanon championship. *c) Lebanon championship. *d) Juniors of Lebanon championship. In the group classification, AYA-Antranik won three championships: (Lebanon, Beirut and Juniors, and AYA-Sevan won the Mount Lebanon group classification. By winning all the competitions and all the titles (individual and group) of 1970, the AYA double teams will have recorded an unprecedented and glorious page in the history of the AYA cycling championship.
Լիբսնանի Հեծելարշաւի Ախոյեանական Մրցումները: Աննախընթաց յաջողութեան տարի մը բոլորեցին ՀԵԸի հեծելաւորդներու զոյգ խումբերը, Անդրանիկ ու Սեւան, 1970 տարուան ընթացքին: Աննախընթաց այն իմաստով, որ տեղի ունեցած տասը մրցումներէն ինն շահեցան անդարանիկի, իսկ մէկն ալ Սեւանի մարզիկները: Սոյն մրցաշարքին, Անդրանիկ կը մասակցէր եօթը, իսկ Սեւան՝ չորս մարզիկներով: Մրցումները, որոնք տեղի ունեցան ամէն Կիրակի զռաւօտ կանուխ, եւ սկսան Ապրիլ 6ին ու տեւեցին մինչեւ Յունիտ 21, կը բաղկանային հետեւեալ ախոյանութիւններէն.- *ա) Պէյրութի Ախոյեանութիւն: *բ) Լեռնալիբանանի Ախոյեանութիւն: *գ) Լիբանանի Ախոյեանութիւն: *դ) Լիբանանի Կրտսերներու Ախոյեանութիւն: Խմբային դասաւորման մէջ ՀԵԸ -Անդրանիկ շահեցաւ երեք առաջնութիւն՝ Լիբանանի կրտսերներու, Պէյրութի և Լիբանանի՝ Իսկ ՀԵԸ-Սեւան՝ Լեռնալիբանանի խմբային դասաւորումը: ՀԵԸի զոյգ խումբերը 1970ի տարուան բոլոր մրցումները ու բոլոր տիտղոսները (անհատական թէ խմբային) շահելով, արձանագրած կ'ըլլան ՀԵԸի հեծելարշաւի պատմութեան մէջ աննախընթաց ու փառաւոր էջ մը: (Kh 1970 Apr Jul p279-235 p28-31)
