1978 04 16 AGBU -AYA V Papazian Theater "A Liar is Wanted" After the two-year Lebanese Civil War, witnessing and hearing about the efforts to revive Lebanese-Armenian theater is truly uplifting. Currently, the Papazian Theater Group is presenting the play "A Liar is Wanted" by Greek playwright Dimitris Psathas. The group's former director, Mr. Krikor Satamian, has been residing in the United States since the Lebanese events, and many of the key actors have dispersed elsewhere. Despite this, the core of the group—honorably—continues to sustain the ensemble and bring it to the stage. Motivated by this dedication, Mr. Vache Adrouni, a graduate of Armenia's Fine Arts and Theater Institute, has been invited to serve as the group’s director. The play "A Liar is Wanted" is especially comedic.
