06 26 AGBU Levon G Nazarian Sec School Graduation … AGBU Levon G. Nazarian School celebrated its 11th academic year Tuesday, June 26, 1973 -------- this year, presenting a rich harvest to its parents by graduating 51 students (33 girls and 18 boys). ----On Tuesday, June 26, 1973, the school’s spacious auditorium was filled with the graduates' parents and relatives, who had come to enjoy the performances of their beloved children and to attend the graduation ceremony.---------- The event was held under the high patronage of the AGBU Educational Committee, with the presidency graciously undertaken by Mr. Kevork Kaloghlian, one of the school’s parents. -----------The opening of the ceremony was conducted by Mr. M. Mardirosian, the homeroom teacher of the graduating class.--------- After the completion of the first part of the day’s program presented by the students, the school principal invited to the stage Mr. H. Kasarjian, member of the AGBU Lebanon Regional Committee, Mrs. Hermine Varjabedian, and Father Torkom Keovoghlanian to distribute the awards and diplomas. This was followed by Armenian and Arabic messages delivered by Silva Vizoyan and Vartouhy Partamian.------- The school principal then took the stage to deliver his closing remarks, advising the graduates to always hold high the names of the AGBU and Nazarian School, wherever they may be, by maintaining their esteemed positions.---------- Former teacher Father Torgom Geovoghlanian was then invited to the stage to deliver the closing speech. The honorable father emphasized the responsibility of parents to vigilantly oversee the upbringing of their children. -------------- KINDERGARTEN "We should also note that this year our kindergarten had a fruitful harvest as well, graduating 68 students (26 girls and 42 boys). The end-of-year and diploma distribution ceremony for the kindergarten took place on June 24, 1973, in the school auditorium with a well-prepared and elaborate program."------------
