AGBU-AYA V Papazian theater group performances in Armenia……AGBU-AYA Vahram Papazian Theater Troupe embarked on its inaugural tour to Armenia, responding to invitations from the Committee for Cultural Connections with the Diaspora and the Armenian Theatrical Society. The troupe had a total of nine performances in Armenia, five of which were in Yerevan. Hagop Baronian’s The Honorable Beggars was staged twice, while Georges Feydeau’s A Fleeting Doubt in a Woman’s Mind was performed seven times…………. On the morning of September 13, the day after arriving in Yerevan, representatives of the troupe met with Ghazar Ghazarian, Deputy Chairman of the Armenian Theatrical Society, and other officials. On Monday, September 18, troupe leaders visited the Committee for Cultural Connections with the Diaspora, where they met with Chairman V. Hamazasbyan and his deputies……….. The most notable event was a discussion evening held at the Dramatic Theater on Monday, October 2, immediately after a performance. Present were H. Ghaplanian, President of the Armenian Theatrical Society and Chief Director of the Dramatic Theater, along with renowned artists and theater figures, who praised the troupe’s stagecraft and patriotic work…………. *
