1915 Oct 21 AGBU Sisouan school in Port Said refugee camp

1915 Oct 20 "The School for Brave refugees of Suedia-Mousa Ler, was inaugurated on October 20, 1915. The event was chaired by the Chairman of the AGBU Educational Committee, the Armenian Archbishop in Egypt, Rev. Bishop Torkom Kushagian. The AGBU school was baptized "Sisouan," which was consisted of 25 tent classes as the number of students of both genders was 1222! Mr. T. Karakashian, the AGBU Central Office director was appointed as the tentative director of the school."
