1963 Jun 23 AGBU Antelias Elementary School End Year Graduation…AGBU-Antilias Elementary school gave its seventh harvest this year... ...Recently, this school was in a difficult situation to reopen, with some financial difficulties. However, the financial difficulties were resolved. And the AGBU Antelias Elementary reopened its doors to Armenian children and youth... We hope that in the future, we will not have this kind of difficulties; on the contrary, shortly, we will see the building of the AGBU-owned school." "June 23, 1963, Sunday, we were spectators at the school's end-of-year event in Cinema Oscar Hall Jel Dib. : Sponsored by AGBU Lebanon Education committee." ...After the colourful song and dance program presented by the Kindergarten students, the Elementary section started with a chorus...after which Principal Mr Ouzounian made the annual report. The graduate class student V. Gedikian read the farewell message. After distributing the certificates, "Husk Bank" was performed by Rev. Kevork Garbisyan. In between, numerous recitations and Armenian and Arabic group dances were performed..."
