AGBU financial aids for emigration from Syria and Lebanon to Armenia, have been spent partly to emigrate 1600 from Greece and Constantinople
Due to the disastrous “Shirak” earthquake, the promised immigration to Armenia in 1927 has not been fulfilled. For that purpose, the money transferred by AGBU to the government of Armenia, was used to emigrate 1600 migrants from Greece and Constantinople to Armenia.
►«Շիրակի երկրաշարժի պատճառաւ 1927ի խոստացուած Հայաստանի ներգաղթը տեղի չէ ունեցած և ՀԲԸՄ-ի այդ նպատակին համար Հայաստանի Կառավարութեան փոխանցած գումարը օգտագործուած է միայն Յունաստանէն և Պոլիսէն 1600 գաղթականներու փոխադրութիւնը ի գլուխ հանուած է»: (*1928 Jan Feb Mioutioun n121 p4)
