1878, after the Treaty of Berlin, The Imposed “Reforms in Western Armenia” by the European countries....
Further to the Berlin Summit of 1878, the Ottoman Empire was obliged to carry out reforms in Western Armenia at the request of European countries. The Armenian issue began to be of great concern to the Turkish authorities. (AGBU History, p..).
