LEVON G. NAZARIAN ELEMENTARY & KINDERGARTEN END YEAR GRADUATION

Graduation Ceremony of the Elementary and Kindergarten Departments of Levon K. Nazarian School The joint certificate-awarding ceremony of the Elementary and Kindergarten Departments of AGBU Levon G. Nazarian School was held on Sunday, August 16, 1981, at 9:30 a.m…….. The school hall was filled with more than 350 parents and relatives. The event was held under the patronage of the AGBU Education Committee……. After delivering the opening remarks, the school's music teacher, Mr. Minas Kankrouni, invited the audience to stand and welcome the graduating children as they entered the hall. Following the Lebanese and AGBU anthems, the kindergarten girls and boys delighted the audience with their innocent and charming performances. On behalf of the graduates, a message was delivered by young Varto Basmadjian……… The Elementary Department had also prepared a tasteful artistic program, featuring successive presentations by Mike Giritlian (recitation), R. Boyajian (piano performance), A. Der-Caloustian (message in Arabic), and M. Keshishian (message in Armenian)……. The graduates received their certificates from Mr. Hagop Altounian, member of the Lebanon Regional Committee; Mr. V. Der-Caloustian, member of the Sin el-Fil Municipal Council; and the school principal, Mr. Henry Urfalian…….. The respected principal then addressed the audience with his concluding remarks. He expressed gratitude and appreciation for the educational work and dedicated service of the late former principal, Yervant Grboyan, whose commitment as an educator had left a lasting impact. He also extended his thanks to Mr. A. Topjian for his contributions and support.
