«ՀԲԸՄիութեան Դարուհի Յակոբեան Վարժարանի Ամավերջի Հանդէսը, ՀԲԸՄի Լիբանանի Կրթ. Յանձնախումբին հովանաւորութեամբ, տեղի ունեցաւ 16 Օգոստոս 1981ին, Պօղոս Գ. Կարմիրեան Վարժարանի սրահին մէջ:-------Այս տարուան հանդէսը կատարուեցաւ բացառաբար շատ սեղմ շրջանակի մէջ: Ներկայ էին ծնողներ եւ շատ մօտիկ ընտանեկան պարագաներ:--------Շրջանաւարտներու հանդիսաւոր ու տպաւորիչ մուտքէն ետք, ներկաները յոտնկայս ունկնդրեցին Լիբանանի եւ ՀԲԸՄի քայլերգները: Ապա բեմ բարձրացաւ վարժարանիս վաստակաւոր ուսուցիչ Պրն. Համբարձում Գումրուեանը, որ կրթական տարեշրջանի աւարտին հետ առնչուող կարգ մը մատնանշումներ կատարեց: Ան յատկապէս շեշտեց կարեւորութիւնը Դարուհի Յակոբեանին կատարած ազգապահպանման դերին, անոր ազգային ու մարդկային վեհ առաքելութեան, որուն հաւատարիմ մնաց իր կյանքին քառասուներկու տարիներուն, եւ ի հեճուկս դժբախտ պարագաներու բերմամբ վերջին չորս տարիներու իր աստանդական վիճակին..... Ան բեմ հրաւիրեց վարաժարանիս տնօրէնուհի Օրդ. Անժէլ Ճանճանեանը, որպէսզի կատարէ կրթական գործիչի իր խօսքը:-------- Յարգելի տնօրէնուհին հպարտութեամբ յայտնեց թէ վարժարանէս շրջանաւարտ կ'ըլլային 48 սանուհիներ (չորսը Արեւմտեան Պէյրութէն), որոնց 17-ը՝ պաքալորէայի բաժինէն, իսկ 31-ը՝ արուեստից: Այս շրջանաւարտուհիները կուգան խտխցնել շարքերը աւելի քան 850 դարուհիցի շրջանաւարտներուն, որոնք փայլած են կը փայլին կրթական, ընկերային մարզերու եւ գործի ասպարէզի մէջ ու ազգային ճակատի վրայ իրենց պատասխանատու պաշտօններով:--------Յարգելի տնօրէնուհին յայտարարեց թէ պայմաններու բերումով ստեղծուած տեղի դժուարութեան հարցը իր դրական լուծումի ճամբուն վրայ է՝ շինութեամբը առաւելագոյն յարմարութիւններով օժտուած դպրոցի մը, Լեւոն Կ. Նազարեան Վարժարանին կից գտնուող ՀԵԸի շէնքին մէջ: -------Ան մաղթեց որ խաղաղութիւնը վերահաստատուի Լիբանանի մէջ, որպէսզի ան շարունակէ մնալ Միջին Արեւելքի լոյսի կեդրոն:------- Պրն. Գումրուեանը բեմ ՀԲԸՄի Լիբ. Շրջ. Յանձնաժողովի փոխ-ատենադպիր Պրն. Յակոբ Ալթունեանն ու տնօրէնուհին, որպէսզի յանձնեն վկայականները:------- Յանուն շրջանաւարտ դասարաններուն՝ ուղերձ մը կարդաց Շաքէ Տօնապետեանը: «Հուսկ բաանք»ը կատարելու համար բեմ հրաւիրուեցաւ վարժարանիս պատմութեան, եւ առեւտրական դասերու ուսուցիչ Պրն. Արտաւազդ Մելքիսեթեանը:------ Հանդէսին անպաշտօն բայց սրտառուչ բաժինը կատարուեցաւ Պօղոս Գ. Կարմիրեան Վարժարանի մէջ, ուր շրջանաւարտուհիները ընդունեցին շնորհաւորուլիւնները ուսուցիչներուն եւ իրենց հարազատներուն:------- ԱՆՈՒԱՆԱՑԱՆԿ.....--------------- ----------TAROUHY HAGOPIAN SEC. SCHOOL. *The annual closing ceremony of the Tarouhy Hagopian School, held under the patronage of the AGBU Lebanon Educational Committee, took place on August 16, 1981, in the hall of the Boghos G. Garmirian School.------------ This year’s ceremony was conducted in an exceptionally limited setting. Attendance was restricted to parents and close family members.--------------- Following the solemn and impressive entrance of the graduates, those present stood to listen to the Lebanese national anthem and the AGBU anthem. Mr. Hampartsoum Koumrouyan, a distinguished teacher of the school, then took the stage and delivered remarks related to the conclusion of the academic year. He particularly emphasized the importance of Tarouhy Hagopian’s role in preserving national identity, as well as her noble national and humanitarian mission, to which she remained devoted throughout forty-two years of her life—despite the difficult and unsettled conditions of the last four years.-------------- He then invited the school’s principal, Miss Anjel Janjanian, to deliver her address.----------- The respected principal proudly announced that 48 students were graduating this year (four from West Beirut): 17 from the Baccalaureate section and 31 from the Arts section. ----------These graduates join the ranks of more than 850 Tarouhy alumni who have distinguished themselves—and continue to do so—in educational and social fields, as well as in professional life and national service through positions of responsibility.---------- The principal further stated that, despite current challenges, the issue of school premises was moving toward a positive resolution through the construction of a new, well-equipped school building adjacent to the Levon G. Nazarian School, within the AYA building.------------ She expressed hope that peace would be restored in Lebanon so that the country may continue to serve as a center of enlightenment in the Middle East.------------- Mr. Koumrouyan then invited Mr. Hagop Altounian, Vice-Secretary of the AGBU Lebanon Regional Committee, along with the principal, to present the diplomas.----------- On behalf of the graduating classes, a message was delivered by Shake Donabedian.------------- For the closing segment, Mr. Ardavasd Melkissetian, history and commerce teacher, was invited to the stage.----------- The informal yet heartfelt part of the ceremony took place at the Boghos K. Garmirian School, where the graduates received congratulations from their teachers and relatives…
