1951 May 6 and 13 AGBU 45th Anniversary celebrations in subsidized Bekfaya and Aramian in Jounieh
*1951 May 6 AGBU 45th Anniversary celebrations in subsidized Bekfaya school. Bikfaya's Armenian community celebrated the AGBU 45th Anniversary at the school hall, with the collaboration of the school teacher Mr G. Imasdounian and the local AGBU chapter members. Most of the Bekfaya Armenian community members and the AGBU & AYA friends and members were present. The school Students took part in the program. Mrs. Tevon Vehian, Miss. V. Sarkisian and Miss A. Parseghian also participated in performing some songs. The day's speaker, Mr. Asadour Y. Magarian, talked about the AGBU and its various programs. The closing speech has made by Mr. Mgrdichian.
«...Պիքֆայէի հայ գաղութը այս տարի Մայիս 6-ին տօնեց ՀԲԸՄիութեան 45-րդ տարեդարձը, պատշաճ կերպով վարժարանի սրահին մէջ, տեղւոյն Մասնաժողովին և ուսուցիչ Տիար Կ. Իմաստունեանի գործակցութեամբ: Հանդէսին ներկայ էին ՀԲԸՄիութեան մասնաճիւղի և Ազգային Վարժարանի հոգաբարձութեան բոլոր անդամները, ինչպէս նաեւ տեղւոյն հայ գաղութը և Մխիթարեան հայրեր»: «...Վարժարանի երկսեռ աշակերտութեան կողմէ տեղի ունեցան զանազան արտասանութիւններ, իսկ վարժարանի երգչախումբը երգեց քանի մը խմբերգներ: Տիկին Թեւոն Վեհեան, Օր. The Board of Trustees of Jounieh National Aramian School and The AGBU Local Committee jointly celebrated the 45th Anniversary of the AGBU in the local school hall. Students of the school presented different entertaining performances. A message was read by teacher Mr. K. Mahlebjian. Miss M. Bozabalian performed two songs. The speaker of the day was Mr. Asadour Y. Makarian.
