1940 Feb 27 The High Commissioner Mr. Dumaun visited Ras ul Ayn Refugee camp
1940 Feb 27: The High Commissioner, Mr Pivo, visited Ras ul Ayn Refugee camp accompanied by the French Delegate in South Lebanon, Mr Dumaun, Mr Vaselier and Architect Mr Bouayer. Rev Khat Serpazan, Rev Zareh, Mr V. Leylagian, and Mr P. Yeghyaian welcomed the Commissioner at the entrance... He has reported about the ongoing construction works in the camp lately and witnessed the current situation of the refugees. He thanked the AGBU for its valuable support, taking the commitment of constructing 50 more houses for the refugees."...
