In June, ten students participated in the Oxford and Cambridge Certificate exams. In Her opening speech, Dr Pergrouhy Nadjarian emphasized the role of the Armenian Secondary Girls schools in general, and especially the role model of the AGBU Tarouhy Hagopian school, in educating the young female generation.” The school principal Mr Khatcher Caloustian presented the yearly report. « ՀԲԸՄի Դարուհի Յակոբեան Երկրորդական վարժարանի ամավերջի հանդէսը տեղի ունեցաւ Յունիս 28-ին, Յովակիմեան- Մանուկեան վարժարանի բակին մէջ: ... Հանդէսին կը նախագահէր Շրջ. Յանձնաժողովի Ատենապետ Տիար Երուանդ Տեմիրճեան: Այս տարի Դ. Յակոբեան տուաւ իր առաւելագոյն հունձքը՝ 21 շրջանաւարտուհի: Սանուհիներէն Ա. Երէցեան, Ա. Եղիայեան և Ռ. Սիմոնեան ստացան Պատուոյ Վկայական, իսկ տասը սանուհիներ Յուլիսին մասնակցած են Օքսֆորտի և Քէյմպրիճի Ճենըրըլ Սերթիֆիքէյթի քննութեանց:.... «Դարուհի Յակոբեանի հանդէսը բացաւ Օրդ. Դոկտ. Բերկրուհի Նաճարեան, որ հմտօրէն անդրադարձաւ հայ Աղջ. Բարձր. Վարժարաններու և յատկապէս Դարուհի Յակոբեանի կարեւորութեան և դերին: Դպրոցի տարեկան Տեղեկագիրը կարդաց Տնօրէն Պրն.
