AGBU project proposal to the British authorities "The Directorate of Relief And Repatriation of Refugees" accepted

AGBU's "The Directorate of Relief And Repatriation of Refugees" project proposal to the British authorities was accepted: "In 1919, after the negotiations with several pro-Armenian foreign Associations have ended, AGBU Board Members presented the project to the British authorities related to forming a coordinating committee to ensure a system of mutual benefit for the authorities through a centrally mixed administration. "The Directorate of Relief And Repatriation of Refugees" project was accepted and approved by the Beirut Military Authorities. A committee was developed with a permanent relationship with the beneficiary organizations to coordinate the needs of the beneficiaries, the medicines, and provide those facilities to the charitable organizations."
