AGBU Levon G. Nazarian Elementary Graduation

1978 07 25 AGBU Levon G. Nazarian Elementary Graduation----------On June 25, 1978, the school auditorium was once again packed with parents of elementary students, relatives, and official representatives.------------- The event was held under the patronage of the AGBU Educational Committee,----------- and the presidency was undertaken by the school parents, Mr. and Mrs. Haroutioun Nazarian.--------------After Mr. Mardirosian's brief opening speech, the students presented the program of the day, which included a choir performance, recitations, dances, and instrumental music.----------- To commemorate the 100th birth anniversary of Vahan Tekeyan, the graduating class of 1977-78 was named "Tekeyan Class."---------------At the conclusion of the program, the school principal expressed satisfaction at having completed a peaceful year,---------------- wishing for the past two turbulent years to be forgotten and for the country and its people to return to a productive and prosperous life.-------------- Dr. Hratch Koumrouyan spoke on behalf of the AGBU Educational Committee.---------- Finally, awards were given to students excelling in academics and conduct.----------- Nora Chaghlassian read the Armenian address,--------------- while Hagop Nazarian delivered it in Arabic.----------------
