1971 03 27 AGBU Antelias Elementary School Dinner Ball The magnificent hall of the Beirut-International Inn was already filled with a large crowd. AGBU Antilias Elementary School had its annual dinner Ball in an intimate atmosphere. Under the auspices of the AGBU Educational Committee, this initiative and the committee for the construction of the new school, comprised of several well-known personalities, took over the presidency. We all knew that our duty would not end by going there and having fun, but there was an important issue - school construction. The Armenian population of the Antilias region has increased daily, so such an Armenian-rich district would enjoy having a newly built school with all its advantages. With the awareness of this need, the construction committee of our school was formed, chaired by Mr. Kevork Garmirian. On this occasion, we did not forget the newly opened Antranik-Antilias club of AGBU-AYA, which was organized in a short time by a group of dedicated people and has already shown good activity---------------
