AGBU Lebanon organized a Teachers Gathering celebrating the New-Year

AGBU Lebanon Educational Committee, this year again, on the occasion of the New Year, organized a teacher's meeting, which took place in AGBU Beirut Local, on Wednesday, the 2nd of January. About a hundred teachers of the AGBU schools, Tarouhy Hagopian and Hovagimian-Manougian, the AGBU Schools Alumni Deans, Principals of schools belonging to three Armenian Communities, representatives of AGBU's Educational Committee and District Committee were present at the meeting. Accepting the invitation of the Educational Committee, the gathering was graced by the beloved Armenian writer Mrs Silva Gaboudikian..." "Secretary of the Educational Committee, Mr. H. Torosian, briefly presented the AGBU's Educational work for the past fifty-six years. Then the Chairman of the Educational Committee, Dr Dikran Varjapedian and Rev. T. Kherlopian, had their brief notes."
