AYA University Students Union "The Armenian Communities in the Far East".
1960 Jan 17 AGBU-AYA University Students Union have organized a lecture entitled "The Armenian Communities in the Far East". Opening the event, Chairman Mr Zaven Mserlian stated that it is not only interesting but also important to know how the Armenians of the Far East faced the threats of national preservation in the past and the present to benefit from them. Rev Terenig Serbazan, after reciting the poem "Parvana" by Ara Keshishian, he mainly reflected on the history of the Armenian colonies of the Far East. The bishop emphasized with facts, the ecclesiasticism, patriotism, and mercantile zeal of the Armenians of the East..."
«Կիրակի, 17 Յունուար 1960ին, Զարեհ Նուպար Ակումբին մէջ, «Ծայրագոյն Արեւելքի Հայ Գաղութները» նիւթին շուրջ, բանախօսեց Գերշ. Տ. Դերենիկ Եպս. Փոլատեան: Հանդէսին բացումը կատարելով Ատենապետ Պրն. Զաւէն Մսըրլեան՝ յայտնեց թէ ոչ միայն հետաքրքրական այլ կարեւոր է գիտնալ, թէ Ծայրագոյն Արեւելքի հայերը անցեալին և ներկայիս ինչպէ՞ս կը դիմագրաւէին ազգապահպանման սպառնացող վտանքները, անոնցմէ օգուտ քաղելու համար: Տ. Դերենիկ Սրբազան, Պրն. Արա Քէշիշեանի կողմէ «Փարվանա» պոէմայի արտասանութիւնէն ետք, մասնաւորաբար անդրադարձաւ Ծայրագոյն Արեւելքի հայ գաղութներուն պատմութեան վրայ»: «... Սրբազանը փաստերով շեշտեց Ծայր.
