1938 A farwell gathering in AGBU Zahle chapter, in honor of Rev Minister Y. Abkarian, who has been in office serving the Arm. Evengelic community for six years in Zahle, and he is going to be transferred to Aleppo with the same position; in appreciation of the precious assistance which the Reverent has always dedicated to the local AGBU and the AYA Chapters, AGBU Zahle chapter chair Mr. H. Hovagimian, highlighted the role Rev. Abkarian played and the sympathy he enjoyed, in the same time congratulating his successor, Rev. Shenorhokian, who was present at the event, which will surely will continue on the path of his predecessor. Mr. Nerseccian expressed AYA’s gratitude too.
