1938 AGBU-AYA Navasartian 1st Games in Lebanon.
1938 Jun 4-5 of Jun: The AGBU-AYA 1st athletic Inter-chapter Festival Navasartian Games in Beirut, under the hospices and presence of Prime Minister Khaled Chehab and H.H. Vicar Bedros Saradjian, gathered around 200 AGBU-AYA athletic team members from Lebanon, Syria and Palestine youth chapters. During two consecutive days, the friendly matches were held in Beirut Municipality stadium. The winners in sports competitions received their trophies from the Lady of the Day, Mrs. V. Leylegian and Honorary ladies, at the night gathering in the club. AYA Navasartian Games were postponed from April to June due to the inconvenient weather
«Յունիս 4-ին և 5-ին խուռն բազմութեան մը առջեւ տեղի ունեցան, Պէյրութի Քաղաքապետարանի մարզադաշտին վրայ, ՀԲԸՄ-ՀԵԸ-ի Նաւասարդեան խաղերը, հովանաւորութեամբ և նախագահութեամբ Լիբանանի Վարչապետ Վսեմ. Խալէտ Շահապի և Կաթ. Ընդհ. Փոխանորդ գեր. Պետրոս Արք. Սարաճեանի: Նաւասարդեան տօնակատարութեան և խաղերուն կը մասնակցէին ՀԵԸ-ի Լիբանանի, Սուրիոյ և Պաղեստինի մասնաճիւղերու մարզիկները: Տեղի ունեցաւ նաեւ ֆութպոլի մրցում մը՝ Պաղեստինի խումբին և «Անդրանիկ»ի միջեւ: Մարզախաղերուն մէջ առաջնութիւն շահողները օրուան թագուհի՝ Տիկ. Վ. Լէյլէկեանի և պատուոյ օրիորդներու ձեռամբ իրենց մրցանակները ստացան, Յունիս 6-ի գիշերը, Զարեհ Նուպար Ակումբին մէջ, մասնաւոր հանդէսով մը»:(1938 Jul-Aug n192 p61)
