1938 May 8 (Za May 22) AYA Zareh Noubar Chapter's trip to Saida
On May 8,1938, About fourty members have participated in the Group Trip to Saida organized by the Zareh Noubar Chapter. All the way “On the road” group songs and joke tellers were dominenet in the two buses carieing the trip participents. And finally here we are, The historic Fortress of Saida and the famous island." “At lunch time we are in one of the beautiful gardens of Saida, everywhere trees loaded with oranges, lemons and plums. After lunch a trip to historic old city district in Saida, A little far, next to the green forest, The Sarafian’s family garden was there”.
► Կիրակի, 1938 Մայիս 8, Երկու մեծ պասերով քառասուն երիտասարդ-երիտասարդուհիներ կը մասնակցին ՀԵԸ-ի Զարեհ Նուպար ակումբի վարչութեան կազմակերպած պտոյտին: Ամբողջ ճանապարհի տեւողութեան, զուարճախօսութիւնն, և մանաւանդ երգն ու երաժաշտութեան ընկերակցութեամբ: «...ահա Սայտայի բերդը, ահա նաեւ նշանաւոր կղզին»: «...Կը մտնենք Սայտա և կ'ուղղուինք դէպի գեղեցիկ ու ընդարձակ պարտէզ մը: Ամենուրեք նարինջի, կիտրոնի և նոր աշխարհի բեռնաւորուած ծառեր»: «...Ժամը 3ին կը մեկնինք պարտէզէն, քաղաքը և աւերակները այցելելու համար: Շուկան՝ դարերու հնութեան դրոշմը կը կրէ: Բլուրին ստորոտը կը տարածուին մարգագետիններ: Քիչ մը հեռուն, մայրիներու խումբի մը կից ցոյց կը տրուի մեզի Սարաֆեանենց պարտէզը...» (Zartonk 1938 May 22 p2)
