1937 New Year Event in Tripoly Noubarian school. Key speaker M. Arzrouni and cultural program.
1937 Jan 3: New Year celebration of AGBU-sponsored Nubarian School took place in the hall of the Greek School in Tripoli with a large crowd. The event started with the AGBU Anthem, followed by beautiful poems, dialogue, Armenian dances, and music. M. Ardzrouni gave a constructive speech on behalf of the trustee. He focused on the educational work done in AGBU. The event ended with Father Ghevont’s prayers.
►«Թրիբոլի 3 Յունուար Յունաց Վարժարանի սրահին մէջ տեղի ունեցաւ Միութեանս նպաստընկալ Նուպարեան Վարժարանի ամանորի հանդէսը խուռն բազմութեամբ: Հանդէսը բացուեցաւ Բարեգործականի քայլերգով, որուն յաջորդեց գեղեցիկ արտասանութիւններ, տրամախօսութիւն, հայկական պարեր և նուագ: Հոգաբարձութեան կողմէ շինիչ ճառ մը կարդաց Մ. Արծրունի, առաւելապէս ծանրանալով ՀԲԸՄիութեան գաղութներու մէջ կատարած կրթական աշխատանքին: Հանդէսը վերջացաւ Տէր Ղեւոնդ հօր պահպանիչով:»(1937 Mar-Apr n184 p27)
