On May 1936 another steamboat "Sinaya" moved from Port of Marseilles via Batumi to Armenia
1936 May 9: Another steamboat, "Sinaya," moved from Port of Marseilles via Batumi to Armenia, taking 1800 French Armenians, including ten graduates of Melkonian Institution, to study in Yerevan University! AGBU is primarily responsible for covering the immigrants' property transportation cost, hot food on board, and extra weight expenses.
►«Ներգաղթի դժուարութիւնները հարթուած ըլլալով, յառաջիկայ Մայիս 9-ին Մարսէյլէն «Սինայա» շոգենաւով դէպի Խ. Հայաստան ճամբայ պիտի հանուին 1800 Ֆրանսահայ գաղթականներ. (Մայիս 16ին Պաթում հասաւ) Որոնց մէջ կը գտնուին Միութեանս Մելգոնեան սաներէն 10 հոգի որպէս պետ. Սաներ Երեւանի Համալսարանի: Մեր Միութիւնը գլխաւորաբար ստանձնած ըլլալով բոլոր ներգաղթողներուն գոյքերուն փոխադրումի. Նաւուն վրայ տաք սնունդի և յաւելուածական պարէնաւորումի ծանր գործն ու ամբողջական ծախքերը, այս մասին պէտք եղած տնօրինութիւնները եղած են ՀՕԿի հետ խորհրդակցաբար:»:(1936 Mar-Apr n178 p18)
