1932 Jun The (Antelias) Kindergarten was established in October 1931, partly sponsored by AGBU. “The Kindergarten was established in the yard of Tebrevank, on October 1931, To prevent the Armenian children of Antelias and Jal el Dib from the street life. “The old bakery was transformed into a hall with the necessary changes.” There are 32 children, 19 of whom are boys and 13 are girls, ages 4-14, divided into three classes, Dzaghik (6 students), Poghpoch (9), Gogon (5), and Dzaghig (12). “At the end year commencement celebration H.H. Papken Catholicos addressed the students’ parents:” You have to help the Kindergarten, keeping your little ones clean, both physically and in good behavior; this school is free for you, but not for us! I don’t want money from you, but I want you to be a member of the AGBU and repay the debt that way! Because the AGBU covers a significant part of the cost of this Kindergarten! (HASG 1932 June p32)
►«Մանկապարտէզը հաստատուեցաւ Դպրեվանքիս բակին մէջ, 1931-ի Հոկտեմբերին, Անթիլիասի և Ճէլ էլ տիպի Հայ փոքրիկները ազատելու համար ծովեզերքի և փողոցի կենցաղէն: Հին փուռը, հարկ եղած փոփոխութիւններով վերածուեցաւ սրահի: Փոքրիկներու թիւն է, 32, որոնց 19ը մանչ և 13ը աղջիկ, տարիքները 14-4, բաժնուած երեք դասի, Ծաղիկ (6 աշակերտ), Բողբոջ (9), կոկոն (5), և Մանկապարտէզի (12): «…Յետոյ Վեհ. Բաբգէն Կթղ. խօսեցաւ, իր խօսքը ուղղելով ծնողներուն և ըսաւ, դուք պէտք է օգնէք Մանկապրտէզին, ձեր փոքրիկները մաքուր պահելով թէ' մարմնով և թէ բարի օրինակով: Այս դպրոցը ձեզ համար ձրի է, բայց ոչ մեզ համար: Դրամ չեմ ուզեր ձեզմէ. Բայց կ'ուզեմ որ Բարեգործականի անդամ ըլլաք և պարտքը այդ կերպով հատուցանէք. Վասն զի Բարեգործականը կը հոգայ այս Մանկապարտէզի ծախքին կարեւոր մասը: Անցեալ տարի Մասնաճիւղ մը կազմեցինք Անթիլիասի և շրջակայից համար, Փառէն Հայր Սուրբի գլխաւորութեամբ, աշխատեցէ'ք ուժովցնել ձեր մասնաճիւղը. Ամէն ծնողք որ փարա կը վաստկի, պէտք է անդամ գրուի Բարեգործականի»:(HASG 1932 June p32)
