Papazian Theater Group performed Georges Shehade’s “VASCO’s HISTORY” Armenian Version at Hov-Manougian school Caloust Gulbenkian theater… «The AGBU-AYA, along with sports movements, made a worthy entry into the artistic life of the whole of Lebanon with its large-scale theater and song-dance events organized in recent years. In the following lines, we will gladly and proudly give the testimonies some of the local newspapers about those cultural achievements of the Youth, prepared by our employee, Mr. V. by Semerjian". "How much did the Armenian people appreciate Vasco's Tale?" he writes under the title: " Berge Fazlian’s words can be summed up like this, Vahram Papazian Theater Group is motivated by a sense of duty to present "Vasco's Tale" by Lebanese and international playwright Georges Shehate. Along with the sense of duty and gratitude, there are also numerous artistic considerations that could make the presentation of "Vasco's Tale" a sympathetic and beloved work. has an oriental stamp and supports the understandings that are appreciated by the Armenian people." Le Soir..”…En montant et jouant HISTOIRE DE VASCO, M. Berje Fazlian a gangne une partie difficile. J’avoue pour ma part que si l’esprit de denigrement n’avait pas conduit mes pas, dans la soiree du 8 mars, a la Salle Gulbenkian, ayant en memoire la difficulte d’une piece d’architecture acrobatique ou se joue la virtuosite du poete-dramaturge, j’etais persuedee qu’il fallait une certaine audace a des amateurs pour aborder un theatre de poesie, sans fondations precises, dans lequel tout repose sur la sensibilite. Berje Fazlian avec sa troupe est alle courageusement jusqu’au bout de l’aventure. Le resultat fut que nous eumes conscience d’etre les temoins d’une reussite incontestable, tant du point de vue de l’adaptation, de la mise en scene que du jeu d’ensemble de la troup….”----------------
ՀԵԸնկերակցութիւնը, մարզական շարժումներու կողքին, վերջին տարիներուն լայն տարողութեամբ կազմակերպած իր թատերական ու երգի-պարի ձեռնարկներով արժանավայել մուտք գործեց համալիբանանեան գեղարուեստական կեանքէն ներս: Հետագայ տողերու մէջ, հաճոյքով ու հպարտութեամբ կու տանք տեղական թերթերու խօսուն վկայութիւնները Երիտասարդացի մշակութային այդ իրագործումներուն մասին, պատրաստուած մեր աշխատակիցին՝ Պրն. Վ. Սեմերճեանի կողմէ»: «...«ՆԱՀԱՐ» գրական յաւելուածը...13 Մարտ, 1964 թիւով հրատարակած է Հանի Ապի Սալէհի տեսակցութիւնը դերասան բեմադրիչ Պերճ Ֆազլեանի հետ: «Հայ ժողովուրդը որքանո՞վ գնահատեց «Վասքոյի Հեքեաթը» վերնագրով կը գրէ՝ «Պերճ Ֆազլեանին խօսքերը կարելի է այսպէս ամփոփել, պարտականութեան զգացումը մղած է Վահրամ Փափազեան Թատերախումբը որ Լիբանանեան և միջազգային արժէքով թատերագիր Ժորժ Շեհատէի «Վասքոյի Հեքեաթը» ներկայացնէ: Պարտականութեան, երախտագիտական զգացումին հետ կան նաեւ արուեստագիտական բազմաթիւ նկատումներ որոնք կարելի դարձուցին «Վասքոյի Հեքեաթը» համակրելի և սիրելի գործին ներկայացումը: արեւելեան դրոշմ ունի ու կը ջատագովէ ըմբռնումները որոնք կը գնահատուին հայ ժողովուրդին կողմէ»: Le Soir.. (Kh Jan-Apr p415-421) (Kh May-Jul p460) «Վասքոյի Հեքեաթը» (Vaskoy Hekiate) վերնագրով, «Լա Ռըվիւ տիւ Լիպան» 1964 Մարտ 14ի թիւով անդրադարձած էր ՀԵԸ-ի Վահրամ Փափազեան Թատերախումբին իրագործումին: Յօդուածագիրը կ'ողջունէ բազմաթիւ լեզուներու թարգմանուելէն ետք հայերէնն ալ լսած ըլլալու Թեհատէի բանաստեղծութեան»: (Kh May-Jul p462) *Under the title "Vascoy Hekiate", "La Revue du Liban" in the issue of March 14, 1964 referred to the implementation of the Vahram Papazian Theater Group of the Armenian National Theater. In the blink of an eye, Perch Fazlean, Lulu Gouyumjian, Zaven Galustian, Grigor Satamyan, Toros Sargisian, Sirvard Fazlean and others. Almost all actors were successful. The theater-loving public will be grateful to the Vahram Papazian Theater Group and its artistic director P. Fazlean, who had the courage to stage such a complex example of modern theater and succeeded in their difficult attempt. This performance would be seen as an honorable performance on any stage of any country…” -------------------- Զարթօնք, 1964 Փետրուար 23ի թիւով, առաջին էջին վրայ ներկայացումէն առնուած նկարին հետ լոյս ընծայած էր խանդավառ գնահատական մը որմէ հետեւեալ պարբերութիւնը. «... Պէտք է անպայման շեշտել թէ Ժորժ Շեհատէի գործը մարդկայնական շունչով եւ զուարթախոհութեամբ թաթաւուն՝ լուրջ մէկ դատապարտութիւնն է պատերազմին: Խաղաղասիրական հոյակապ ստեղծագործութիւն մըն է ան: Եւ գործը իրէն արժանի բեմադրութիւնը ունեցաւ՝ շնորհիւ Վահրամ Փափազեան Թատերախումբին եւ անոր գեղարուեստական ղեկավար Պերճ Ֆազլեանին: Ոչ մէկ տարակոյս որ դերակատարներուն խաղարկութիւնը իր կարգին շատ բարձրորակ էր. Աչքի զարկին Պերճ Ֆազլեանը, Լուլու Գույումճեանը, Զաւէն Գալուստեանը, Գրիգոր Սաթամեանը, Թորոս Սարգիսեանը, Սիրվարդ Ֆազլեանը եւ ուրիշներ. Գրեթէ բոլոր դերակատարները յաջող էին: Թատերասէր հասարակութիւնը շնորհակալ պիտի ըլլայ ՀԵԸի Վահրամ Փափազեան Թատերախումբին եւ անոր արուեստագէտ ղեկավար Պ. Ֆազլեանին, որ արդիական թատերագրութեան այսպիսի բարդ նմոյշ մը բեմադրելու խիզախութիւնը ունեցան, եւ յաջողեցան իրենց խրթին փորձին մէջ: Որեւէ երկրի որեւէ մէկ բեմի վրայ պատոաւբեր իրագործում պիտի նկատուէր այս ներկայացումը: (Vascoyi Hekyate press cronicals PD Kh May -Jul n7-8-p463)
