Tragic end of the kelegian orphans struggle in Hadjen...
In 1920, the orphans of the AGBU Hadjin Kelekian Orphanage, were defending the Orphanage for a whole month with their own means; however, it became impossible for them to stay longer in the Monastery Orphanage. After a desperate defensive struggle for one month, only two of the three surviving orphans reached Diort-Yol with their commander, and the third arrived in Adana. ► «ՀԲԸՄ-ի Հաճընի Քէլէկեան որբանոցի պահակախումբը ...Հաճընի մեր կտրիճ որբերը ....Մեր տղաքը իրենց միջոցներով ամբողջ ամիս մը պաշտպաներ են Որբանոցը: Երբ այլեւս անկարելի կը դառնայ Վանք-Որբանոցին մէջ աւելի երկար մնալ, կ'այրեն զայն և քաղաք կը փոխադրուին, ու մեծերը կը մասնակցին ինքնապաշտպանութեան գործին, իսկ 12-14 տարեկանները թռուցիկ խումբի պաշտօն կը կատարեն: Այս վերջինները մանաւանդ մեծ ծառայութիւն մատուցած են և զոհ գացած թշնամիին գնդակներուն: Ողջ մնացող 3 սաներէն երկուքը՝ իրենց հրամանատարին հետ Տէօրթ-Եօլ հասած են, իսկ երրորդը Ատանա կը գտնուի: (Քաղուած Քէլէկեան որբանոցի վարիչ Յ.
