1959 Jan 19: AGBU-AYA Lebanon and Syria Executive Committees Assembly in Beirut

1959 Jan 19: AGBU-AYA Lebanon and Syria Executive Committees Assembly was held in Beirut AYA Zareh Noubar club. In the presence of 16 representative members of Syria and Lebanon chapters, besides the AYA Central Committee members. At the opening, the Assembly stood one silent minute in honour of the memory of late Mr. Levon Nazarian and Commander Boghos Toursarkisian. After the opening speech by Central Committee chairman Mr. Khatcher Caloustian, Mr. Habib Torosian read the AYA Central Committee biennial report, which sowed the successive achievements of the last two years. Afterwards, the Assembly discussed the agenda matters and gave particular solutions. The main issue was the preparations for the coming AGU-AYA 3rd Navasartian Sports Games in Beirut
