1968 11 13 AGBU-AYA University Students Lecture by Dr. Jilbert Boghosian The AGBU-AYA University Student Association held its first public lecture of the year at the Zareh Noubar Club on November 13, 1968.--------------- Despite unfavorable weather conditions and several disruptions, the hall was filled with university students-------------------. Before the lecture, Dr. Gilbert Bilezikian was introduced to the club.---------------- The opening speech was delivered by the association’s chairperson, Miss Hermine Hadjinian, who briefly introduced the president of Haigazian College.--------------- The esteemed lecturer, through various engaging references, made the topic—"Student Revolts and the Church"—accessible in its full depth.----------------- Through more philosophical explanations, he skillfully defined the demands of thousands of students and listed some of the causes behind their revolts.----------------- He stated that for the Church to offer a remedy to contemporary student movements, as well as other global crises, rebellions, and numerous misunderstandings, it must return to its genuine starting point.------------------- **
